Rights and Licenses

The book-rights of The Girls of Room 28 can be purchased, with the exception of  the Czech and Polish rights. They are hold by Albatros (Prague) and Swiat Ksiazki (Warsaw).

The English edition of The Girls of Room 28 was hold for ten years by Schocken Books N.Y. I am happy to find an interested publisher for the a new English edition.

A new profoundly revised, updated and extended book in German appeared in 2025 in Edition Room 28. I highly recommend thgis book for publication.

The Czech rights of the Diary of Helga Pollak-Kinsky are hold by Albatros Prague. I am happy to find an interested publisher for an English edition and editions in other languages.

I also recommend the autobiographical recollections by Evelina Merová, on of the "Girls of Room 28"

The children's book based on the opera Brundibár by Hans Krása and Adolf Hoffmeister was first published in September 2023 by the music-publisher Boosey & Hawkes who holds the rights of the opera. Co-Publisher is Edition Room 28/Hannelore Brenner, author of the children's book-
