Since 2004, a book, an exhibition and a play have told the story of the girls from room 28, a group of Jewish children whose fates came together in the Theresienstadt ghetto, girls' home L 410 in room 28.

The educational project compendium conveys a Jewish-German remembrance project on the subject of the Holocaust that has grown over two decades and is based on original documents and testimonies, above all the authentic diary of Helga Pollak-Kinsky.

The compendium primarily aims to familiarize schools, educators, cultural actors – including potential donors and sponsors – with this history and the associated educational project. It provides information about the history and impact of this project, which began in 1996, about the diverse aspects and goals of the project, presents the associated media and contains a selection of didactically prepared teaching materials. The material is particularly suitable for interdisciplinary and extracurricular creative arts projects, as it is essentially about the meaning of art, culture, creativity and humanity.
