The book is currently available in a Polish edition and a newly translated, updated Czech edition.
The book The Girls of Room 28 was first published in April 2004 at Droemer Verlag, Munich. Further editions followed immediately afterwards, in 2005 unfortunately under a different title "Ich hoffe, dass wir uns irgendwo wiedersehen" (I hope we see each other again somewhere) / Weltbild. A Knaur paperback followed in 2006. In January 2008 Aufbau Verlag, Berlin published the book anew. The book is out of print. The rights belong to the author. Currently only the Polish and Czech editions are available in bookstores.
Edition Room 28 publishes books connected with "The Girls of Room 28"and Theresienstadt. It started in 2014 with the publication of the Theresienstadt diary of Helga Pollak, followed
by the autobiography of Evelina Merová " Lebenslauf auf einer Seite" (Vita on one Page). Further publications are the Compendia to the Room 28 Educational Project (German, English, Czech) and the theatre-Play (German, English, Brazilian).
